Notification Settings

Agents will receive notification emails and texts based on the settings and permissions provided by their Admin.  Below, we will discuss:

Notification Types

New leads - sent when a new lead is assigned to the agent.
Seller Leads valuation inquiry - sent when an assigned lead completes the property valuation form.
Incoming emails from leads - sent when an assigned lead writes an email and the Lead Manager receives it.
Incoming text messages from leads - sent when an assigned lead sends a text message to the system text messaging number.
Leads become active - sent when an assigned lead becomes active on the website. A lead is considered active after a 24-hour gap since their previous visit.
Leads favorite a property - sent when an assigned lead adds a property to their list of favorites.
Leads share a property via email - sent when an assigned lead shares a property using the share via the email function on a property details page.
Follow-up reminders - sent when the agent has scheduled a follow-up.
Daily follow-up reminders - sent on a daily basis, summarizing all scheduled follow-ups.
Idle lead reassignments - sent when a lead is reassigned to the agent due to Idle Lead Reassignment settings.

Admin and Team Leader Notifications

Potential Seller Leads - Sent when a potential seller lead enters that specific database
Agents - Outgoing emails to leads - Sent when an agent sends an outgoing email from the Lead Manager.
Agents - Activities - Sent when an agent logs an activity on a lead's activity feed.
Agents - New Leads - Sent when an agent is assigned a new lead.
Agents - Seller Leads valuation inquiry - Sent when an agent's assigned lead completes a Property Valuation form.
Agents - Incoming emails from leads - Sent when an agent receives an incoming email from an assigned lead.
Agents - Incoming text messages from leads - Sent when an agent receives an incoming text message from an assigned lead.
Agents - Leads become active - Sent when an agent's assigned lead becomes active.
Agents - Leads favorite a property - Sent when an agent's assigned lead adds a favorite property.
Agents - Leads share a property via email - Sent when an agent's lead uses the share by email function.
Agents - Follow-up reminders - Sent when an agent has a scheduled follow-up.
Agents - Daily follow-up reminders - Daily summary notification of agent's scheduled follow-ups.
Agents - Idle lead reassignments - Notification when a lead is reassigned due to Idle Lead Reassignment.

How to Set up Notifications

Only Owners, Admins, and Team Leaders have access to update an Agent's notification settings.

1. Click on the Agents tab.
2. Choose the User for which you would like to update notifications
3. Check that the agent has their notification addresses set up.
3. Scroll down to Notifications and place a checkmark in the appropriate boxes.
4. Save.

Notification Addresses:

  • Notification Email Address - Primary notification address, usually matches the login email.
  • Alternate Emails - Alternate notification addresses. Multiple email addresses are acceptable if separated by a comma.
  • Text Emails - Emails that are sent to a mobile text message address. The format for these is dictated by your mobile provider but an example would be 1234567890@vtext.com for Verizon.

Why are my agents not receiving text notifications?

If your agent isn't receiving text notifications, you'll want to double check the text email address they have defined in their settings.  More specifically, you'll want to check that the end address is in their cellular carriers SMS Email Format.
