Site Administration

When you've pulled up a site, it'll display various status indicators. They can all be toggled in the settings themselves.
Common Settings
Board - This is the mapped MLS board that will dictate what listings will display on the website.
Company ID - An internal ID number used across systems. No changes should be made. Make sure this exists in the lead manager.
Site Domain - Make sure you start with www
Email From Name - The plain-text name that emails will originate from. Clients may request to have this changed. Best Practice is to use a company or group name.
Site Name - Keep the domain name here. This helps with searching for the site.
Forward Email To - Comments on your blog will notify this address
Google Meta Verify - Located near the end of the head tag. Insert Google Verification Codes here.
Opening Body Tag Hole - (HTML) Located immediately after opening body tag. Tracking Codes may need to be placed here.
Closing Body Tag Hole - (HTML) Located at the end of the body tag.
Google Analytics Key - Insert the client's tracking key. Just the UA part. Like this: UA-123411233-1
Facebook Pixel ID - Insert the client's tracking pixel.
Show Wizard - Reinitiate the Site Setup Wizard. Defaulted to True for new sites. Flips to False when the wizard is complete.
Template Options
Styles - Make No Changes. Dict with the values for the new style system.
Template Previous - Previous template before switching to a new one. Used to allow users to roll back to an old template.
Template - Default template style.
Color Variation - Default template style
Horizontal Homepage Search - Toggle Quick Search Orientation.
- True = Long rectangle near the bottom of the header image.
- False = Boxed rectangle favoring a left alignment.
Client Tweaks - Custom CSS file for this site
Header Phone - The phone number that appears in the site-wide header
Detail Phone - The phone number that appears on property detail pages
Detail Page Photo or Logo - Photo or logo that shows up on the property detail page
Use Assigned Agent Image - If an agent has uploaded a Profile Image then your site will prefer this image over "Detail Page Photo Or Logo." True/False.
Header Image - Big landscape image or video that spans across the top part of most pages
Header Image Width - Width of the big landscape image. No changes needed.
Header Logo - Header logo, goes in the header of the site.
Header Logo Alt - Alt text for the header logo. For disability purposes.
Favicon - A .ico file that will show up in the browser address bar or bookmarks
Main Footer Content - Make no changes. Bottom footer content.
Big Search Title - Heading that appears above the big search form except on area and foreclosure pages.
Foreclosure Big Search Title - Heading that appears above the big search form on foreclosure pages.
Secondary Bottom Nav Header - Header for secondary bottom navigation box.
Map Search Footer - Make no changes. Footer content for map search.
Blog Header Image - Big landscape image that spans across the top part of the blog home page.
Blog Header Image Alt - Alt text for the default blog image. For disability purposes.
Favorite Property Dialog Reasons - Make no changes. Reasons that users can select from the Favorite Property dialog. List separated by commas. Example: beds, baths, building_name.
Advanced Template Options
Client Template Dir Name - Old templates only. Use a special override directory to return different markup for this site only. Please don't use this.
Custom Property Overlay JS - Set this to put a button that says 'More Info' on the page that opens a popup with HTML in it.
Override Terms of Service - Override the Real Geeks terms of service page (use HTML)
Override Privacy Policy - Override the Real Geeks Privacy Policy page (use HTML)
Enabled Deferred CSS - Toggle if a client is having load issues after they've added CSS code.
Board Settings
Show Price Changes - True/False Toggle. Displays Red or Green arrows next to Price on Search Result Pages, as well as an indicator on the Property Detail Page.
Enable Virtual Tours - True/False Toggle. Button shows on top of the listing images on a Property Detail Page.
Property Unique ID - Make no changes. This is the ID used in property URLs - /property/some_unique_id/ It's usually MLS number, but for National Relocation, we had to use our own unique identifier because there are duplicate MLS numbers on that board (mls_number vs. mls_number_orig).
Prop Listings Quick Details - Fields to show when displaying properties on content pages. List separated by commas. Example: beds, baths, building_name. Full list available from Board Support if needed.
Prop Listings Full Details - Fields to show when displaying properties in the search results. List separated by commas. Example: beds, baths, br, mls, square_footage. Full list available on #boards_support.
Prop Listings Mapsearch Details - Fields to show when displaying properties in the search results. List separated by commas. Example: beds, baths, br, mls, square_footage. Full list available on #boards_support.

Lm Area Attrs - List, by order of preference, of the attributes on the first search to send over to the lead manager. Used for Geo Round Robin Setup. https://support.realgeeks.com/hc/en-us/articles/217537937-Setting-up-Geographic-Round-Robin

Search Fields - The name of the YAML file in search/forms/fields/ that has the available fields for this board.
Search Forms - The name of the YAML file in search/forms/ that has the form definitions for this board.
Prop Fields Yml - The name of the YAML file in prop_fields/ that tells how to display all the detailed property information.
Plaster MLS Logo in Details - MLS Logos to spam within the property details page next to the address. The value must be a JSON document with keys of MLS IDs to HTML fragments.
No Photo Large - Make no changes. Path to the image displayed when we don't have a photo for a property. Leave off the /static/. Example: img/no_photo_avail_large.jpg
No Photo Thumb - Make no changes. Path to the image displayed when we don't have a photo for a property. Leave off the /static/. Example: img/no_photo_avail_thumb.jpg
Mega Disclaimer - Make disclaimers super big for boards that love disclaimers.
Search From Content - Add extra content after search forms (used for EULA on Northstar MLS)
Enable Rentals - True/False Toggle. Board dependant. Enables "_r" Property Types to appear (Rental Page/Rental Search must be configured in Search Form YAML files.)
IDX Logo in Listings - IDX Logo to show to the left of Add Favorites/Request Information links. Usually no change is needed.
Search Status Map - Interpretation of the status field on the property provided by the MLS for search purposes. Statuses not included here are hidden across the website. Alert Status Map - Rarely needs to change. Alerts will be sent only when a property enters or exits one of the groups. If a property exits all groups here but remains in some group in SEARCH_STATUS_MAP it will be considered to be "UNDER CONTRACT" for sending alerts, otherwise, it will be treated as if it disappeared from the database (or appeared in the database for the converse case). Display Status Map - Statuses listed here will be displayed differently. Statuses not listed here will be displayed in their original form. Use to expand abbreviations, fix misspellings, or other requests from customers. Sold Within Max - Maximum number of months of sold data. Default is 3 years, which is the most common setting for most MLSs.
Expand Searches for Alerts - True/False Toggle. Set to False if you want only Active properties to show in the Property Update emails. Will only receive Sold listings if they explicitly save a Sold Search.
IDX Service URL - Make no changes. For Board Support Only.
Property Cache Time - How long to cache search results. Value indicates the number of Seconds.
Show Living Area Source - Should 'Living Area Source' be displayed above photos on the property detail page (used for FMLS compliance).
Advanced Site Settings
Lead Capture On Property - The lead capture popup will appear on the #th property displayed. 0 to disable forced signup.
Enable Facebook Login - Adds the ability to sign up and log in with Facebook credentials.

Content Page Property Lead Capture - True/False Toggle. Whether the lead capture popup will appear on a property listed in a default search.
Address Search Property Lead Capture - True/False Toggle. Whether the lead capture popup will appear on a property selected from an address search dropdown.
Address Search Status Query Parameter - Query parameter value to use for `search_status` in the address search, used for including pendings, solds, etc.

Enable Address Search Rental Suggestions - True/False Toggle. When True, enables rental property suggestions in address search.
Market Report Results Lead Capture - True/False Toggle. If True, the user will be forced to signup before viewing a market report results page.
Index Detailed Properties - True/False Toggle. Set to True if you want your detailed property pages linked from your area and content pages to be indexed by search engines.
Disable Primary Mobile Address Search - True/False Toggle. Removes the address search textbox on mobile pages with search enabled. Useful in combination with Typeahead search enabled (since 2 typeahead search bars will render very closely together). Does not disable the sidebar address search, only the top-most body content search widget.
Address Search In Side Bar - Whether address search textbox will be included in sidebar.

Blog Comment Captcha - True/False Toggle. Require a captcha to fill out the comment form.
Contact Form Captcha - True/False Toggle. Require a captcha to fill out the contact form (for users who are not logged in).
Enable Schedule Virtual Tour - True/False Toggle. Display a button for scheduling virtual tours from property detail pages.
Blog Url - Location of blog
Enable Search - True/False Toggle. Allows Search capabilities.
Enable Updates - True/False Toggle. Allows email updates to go out.
Company Name - Pulled in on some disclaimers. You can usually leave this blank
Enable Listings - True/False Toggle. Allows Listings on the website.
Disable Homepage - True/False Toggle. If needed. Redirects to /search/advanced_search/.
Additional Tracking Code Signup - Additional (raw html) code that appears when a lead signs up. Used for Google adwords conversion tracking.
Home Valuation Address Capture - (RAW HTML) code that appears when a user enters their address in the capture form. (Potential Seller Lead tracking)
Home Valuation Completion - (RAW HTML) code that appears when a user finishes the home valuation signup process. If they are not signed in, it means that they have signed up. If they are already signed in, it means that they confirmed the property details.
Enable Site Directory - True/False Toggle. Enables the old site directory that doesn't work very well.
Enable Share Button - True/False Toggle. Enable the share button in the sidebar. Facebook and Twitter.
City Field For Address - Sometimes a site searches on a variant of the city field in their search YAML, such as city_orig, but we use the regular field in the displayed address. In such a case some clients may want to use that variant instead.
Market Report Columns - Columns in the Active & Under Contract market report tables. Full list available on #boards_support.
Market Report Sold Columns - Columns in the Sold market report table. Full list available on #boards_support.
Rare Advanced Site Settings
Map Type - This is for map search. You can set it to google.maps.MapTypeId.HYBRID if you want the map search to default to a hybrid map.

Show State In Results - True/False Toggle. Set this to True to show the state name after the city name on all property results pages.
Fb Admins - Comma separated string with Facebook IDs of people who would be admins for our Facebook stuff.
International Phone Numbers - True/False Toggle. Set this to True to allow international phone numbers in sign-in and signup modals.
Server Settings
Database User - Make no changes. Required for functionality.
Database Password - Make no changes. Required for functionality.
Database Name - Make no changes. Required for functionality.
Secret Key - Make no changes. Required for functionality.
Session Cookie Name - Make no changes.
Filebrowser Directory - Make no changes.
Cdn Slug - Make no changes.
Email From Prefix - Updated when Changing Domain Names.
Dev Site Name - Make no changes.
Dev Site Enabled - True/False Toggle. In case someone doesn't want their domain.realgeeks.com accessible. False creates a wildcard redirect from the "domain.realgeeks.com" to "
DNS Records - Apply MX records from a respective email service provider. If options are not available, the records must be added manually in AWS. Must SYNC after selections.

Nameservers Set - True/False Toggle. Is this site using our nameservers? Affects links that either point to "domain.realgeeks.com" or "domain.com".
Test Site - True/False Toggle. Turn to true if this is a test site, not to be considered for billing or DNS. For employees only.
Global Settings
Email Address Blacklist - Any email addresses in this list get denied. Separate by commas. Example: bob@obob.com
Email Domain Blacklist - Any email addresses that contain this get denied. Separate by commas. Example: obob.com,facebook.com
Email Ip Blacklist - Separate by commas. Example: 61.152.188.195,222.186.26.208
Phone Number Blacklist - Any phone numbers in this list get denied. Separate by commas. Example: 123-456-7890,(321) 654-0987
Enabled - True/False Toggle. Activates the entire website.
Approved - True/False Toggle. Indicates MLS Approval for listings. If False, the listings will not show on a live site.
Google Analytics Aggregate Key - Make no changes.
Maintenance Mode - True/False Toggle. Put the site on maintenance mode.
Recaptcha Site Key - Make no changes. SITE Key for CAPTCHA on the contact form for users who are not signed in.
Recaptcha Secret Key - Make no changes. SECRET Key for CAPTCHA on the contact form for users who are not signed in.

Preview Unpublished Templates - True/False Toggle. Show unpublished style templates in the template dropdown.
Enable Wip Pages - True/False Toggle. Allows users to see portions of unpublished template pages that are a work in progress.
Thumbor CDN URL - Make no changes. Path to thumbor CDN.
Enable Html Emails - True/False Toggle. Start sending HTML emails instead of text-based emails. Default: True
Enable Agent Signatures - True/False Toggle. Include the assigned agent signature in the email updates. Default: True
