Facebook Setup:
- Create FB Business Page.
- Facebook.com
- Add (+) button in the top right corner.
- Select Page and create. Page Name, Category (Real Estate), Description, click Create Page.
- Connect Ads Manager
- facebook.com/adsmanager/
- Connect Billing via Waffle menu in the top left, select Billing.
- Select Payment Settings in the top right.
- For testing purposes, we’re not going to add any billing. This is just to show where this is located.
- Setup and Connect FB Pixel
- From the top left Waffle Menu, select Events Manager.
- Click the Green (+) button on the left menu for Connect Data Sources.
- Choose the Web option and Get Started.
- Under Data Sources, Copy the Pixel ID. It’s 15 characters long.
- Send that to RG support to add to the website.
- Create Business Account
- Business.facebook.com
- If you have one already, it will populate.
- If not, you’ll be taken to Business.facebook.com/overview/
- Click Create Account in the top right and fill out the info. This is internal info.
- At the Business Manager, under the Pages section, click Go To Business Settings.
- Make sure you’re at Business Settings - Accounts - Pages, on the left column menu. business.facebook.com/settings/pages/
- In the middle, click Add and select Add a Page. Type in the page created earlier and add.
- Stay in the Business Page Settings.
- Domain Verification
- In the left column menu, select Brand Safety -> Domains.
- Add the site domain.
- Select DNS Verification from the top.
- Copy the Bolded code from Step 2 and send it to the Support team.
- Once added, the client can return to this page and Verify.
- After verification is complete, select Add Assets at the top of the page.
- Check your Page name and Add.
