Slack Channel Descriptions

General Recommendations

- Do not use group tags unless there is an urgent reason to. 
@here (Alerts all people who are online)
@channel (Alerts the entire channel)
@all (Alerts EVERYONE)
These should be used primarily for major announcements. Not contacting people.

- Use threads to keep content within the chat board concise.

- All conversations that are not relevant to the topic of the channel need to be moved to #random.

Slack Channels

#dallasoffice #hawaiioffice - Respective Office Channels - For announcements and discussions relevant to the particular office locations. 

#general - Not a chat channel. This channel is used to accommodate various GitHub deployments.

#cse - Customer Support (Service) Experience - Where the support team will discuss issues and communicate about tickets as well as any announcements that need to be made to the team.

#support - Used for issues regarding the Real Geeks product. The Escalation Team and the Dev Team will discuss issues here.

#docs - Where new or updated docs are shared for review and education. New documentation topics can also be suggested and discussed. 

#boards_support - Used for issues regarding MLS data. 

#sales_support - Support questions from the sales team.

#accounts_support - Support for accounts.

#product_updates - Internal announcements for product updates and changes. 

#outbound - Used to notify, share, and discuss any outbound calls that need to be made by the support team.

#onboarding - Used to notify, share, and discuss Kick-Off Call topics.

#hype_train - Where discussions are had on how to best communicate with the client and provide best practice advice.
