Removing a User from Disabled Site and CRM

If you have a site owner that is having trouble accessing their site/CRM, they may have a disabled site/CRM in their account (like the image below). To remove them from this old site, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Pull up their CRM at https://leads.realgeeks.com/companies/ and enable it by checking the "Enabled" box and clicking "Submit". Then confirm the CRM is enabled.

Step 2: Click on the now enabled CRM, click "Log in as Admin", and pull up the User List.

Depending on which view you are in, you will either have to just click on "Users", or click on "Users" and then "User List".

Step 3: Click on "New User" and add the user that you want to use. You can use your own account, or a fake one, like "RGBilly RGTest". Then check the "Admin" box, and click "Return to Admin".

Step 4: Pull up the CRM again and click on the "Site Owner" dropdown to change the owner to the user that you just added, and click "Submit".

Step 5: Click "Log in as Admin" and then pull up the "User List" again to sign in as the new site owner. In most cases, it will still log you in as the original site owner because "Log in as Admin" signs you in as the first admin in the list and not necessarily as the owner. Once logged in as the new owner, pull up the user list again and delete the old site owner from the CRM.

Step 6: Return to admin and disable the CRM by unchecking the "Enabled" box and clicking "Submit".

Step 7: Pull up the client's account in https://accounts.realgeeks.com/ and click on the disabled domain. Then click "Unassign Owner". May need to refresh the page after.

Step 8: Assign a new owner by using the same user that you added to the CRM. Then click on the user's name to pull up the account.

Step 9: Once the account is pulled up, click "Log in as User". Then click on the "Edit/Add Users" button next to the domain.
* If the domain does not show up in the website list, pull it up in MCP and enable the site. Then disable it again when done.

Step 10: Delete the user.

Step 11: Return to superuser, pull up the client's account, and confirm they are no longer the owner of the disabled site.

Step 12: Pull up the user that you assigned the site to, click on the site, and click "Unassign Owner" again.

All done! Take a nap.
