Launching a GoDaddy domain through Google

GoDaddy allows Google to “own” their domains when the agent is using Suite for email. Launching a GoDaddy/Google shared site takes a few steps.

  1. Log into the agent’s Google Domains account.  This may come with several two-part authentication processes, so it is best to have them on the phone with you
  2. Once logged in, select “My Domains”
  3. Select “Domains”
  4. Select “Manage Domains”
  5. Select “View Details”
  6. Select “Advanced DNS Settings”
  7. Click to “SIGN IN TO DNS CONSOLE ” taking note of the username and password
  8. Log in using the Sign-in name and Password.  This will not be the same as the Google credentials, or GoDaddy.
  9. Update the nameserver records with the standard launch records
