GoDaddy allows Google to “own” their domains when the agent is using Suite for email. Launching a GoDaddy/Google shared site takes a few steps.
- Log into the agent’s Google Domains account. This may come with several two-part authentication processes, so it is best to have them on the phone with you
- Once logged in, select “My Domains”
- Select “Domains”
- Select “Manage Domains”
- Select “View Details”
- Select “Advanced DNS Settings”
- Click to “SIGN IN TO DNS CONSOLE ” taking note of the username and password
- Log in using the Sign-in name and Password. This will not be the same as the Google credentials, or GoDaddy.
- Update the nameserver records with the standard launch records
- ns1.rgnameserver.com
- ns2.rgnameserver.com
- ns3.rgnameserver.com
- ns4.rgnameserver.com
