Emailing a board

There are several reason we may need to reach out to an MLS board:

  • MLS numbers missing and in debug mode there's a RETS message of "no records found"
  • Field is not given in our data feed
  • Field is given in our data feed but there is no value given; field is blank but it's not blank in their MLS

If your situation is similar to any of the reasons above, then you can email their MLS board to see what is going on.

Send email to the board

Always send the emails from the following email account:

realgeeks.help@gmail.com

Password:

- You can look at previously sent emails to boards for examples.

Important notes:

- Always include the boards credentials: the hostname (call it the Login URL) and the username.

- In the majority of cases, you will NEVER need to give the password.  If they ask for it, they really shouldn't need it, but you can ask Paul or Brian for advice on how to proceed.

- Always CC the client so they know that you contacted their board.
