E-mailing from the Lead Manager
After setting up your e-mail you may also e-mail leads directly from the Lead Manager.
To do so, you must have e-mail integration enabled. The Lead Manager will then use your e-mail provider's services to send the e-mail out.
E-mailing a lead is accomplished as simply as clicking the "E-mail" button on their profile or on their bar in your Lead tab.
Out-going e-mails are saved in the lead manager history, but the rest of the conversation will have to be continued from your e-mail client. At present, there is no way to get incoming e-mails sent to your lead manager.

E-mails count as activities for the purposes of follow-ups, and this is true even if a template is used.
E-mail Templates
Templates are available for configuration from within the settings menu and are configured on a per-user basis. If you would like to share templates then make sure to e-mail them between your agents.
You'll use templates from a drop-down menu when the e-mail action is selected from any menu that displays leads. These can also be altered before they are sent.
You can edit or add templates by going in your lead manager to "Settings" > "Templates".

Personalizing Templates
We have some shortcut text as well for these e-mails that allow you to make sure the e-mail is personalized to the user you're addressing. The shortcut texts can be found in the Merge Fields option in the editor.
