Adding a site owner to Google Analytics

  • The first thing we'll need is a Gmail email address from the client wanting to get added to Google Analytics.
  • Head to the site order for the account.
  • In the site order, you should see the analytics [UA-#######-#] and added goals to (rganal##) to analytics. This confirms we have added their website to an analytics account. If you do not see this in the site order please let Jed, Brittney, or Garrett know. (these names are subject to change)
  • Now head to analytics.google.com.
    • For the email address, you will insert rganal##@realgeeks.com. It's the same rganal## from the site order. For most accounts, the password is G5N!R6XqKGM!Fj8h (other passwords can be found below)

Tables can't be imported directly. Please insert an image of your table which can be found here.

      Here are more accounts: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1K0EfPIiJfWkFHxJTTcmwNMEZd3QRgv9wDRQimDewxtk/edit#gid=0
  • Once you are logged in, you will want to head to All Web Site Data.

  • You'll then want to search for the client's website. (Keep in mind, we add the domain that the client sign-up under. If the client changed their domain to something else, you'll need to look for the original from the site order.)
  • Once you select the site, head to Admin on the bottom left > user management > select the add button on the top right > add user.s

  • Add the Gmail address of the client, and give them full permissions. The email needs to be associated with google or else it won't work.
  • The client should get an email from Google Analytics letting them know they were added.
